[name_m]Hi[/name_m], berries! My wife and I are trying for baby number 4, and already have a boy name prepared: [name_m]Leopold[/name_m] [name_m]Antonius[/name_m], but if we have a girl we don’t know how to agree on a name. We have three boys already that are named [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Cornelius[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u], and it’s important that a possible girl name goes well with these.
My wife wants the name [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], which I like, but I’m not sure I love.
I don’t feel passionate about any girl names, so I feel like I should just let her have what she wants. The name I feel the most passionate about is [name_f]Alida[/name_f], but she dislikes that name.
Names we both like are:
Your son’s names are strong, distinguished timeless classics. My favorite options for you are [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. I quite like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] as well, but am not sure if you want two “c” names. If that doesn’t bother you, [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would be my first choice. I know you didn’t ask for suggestions, but [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] seems like it would also fit well in your family.
I am in love with [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]! But I think [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] would be the best choice for the sibling set. Personally, I think it goes the best with your boys’ strong names. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] make one lovely sibset!
Your boys have such striking, rich, impactful names. For a girl, I think the name that best suits that style is [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] is so strong and evocative, classic yet unexpected. Modern favorite and perennial [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is a sweet middle, along the lines of [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] in terms of style. Would you consider [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]? I think that suits the classic-cool first, daring middle theme. I also like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f].
I really like [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] with your other kids.
[name_f]Myrtle[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is so precious btw, I love that as well.
Not sure if you’re looking for more suggestions… For names similar to [name_f]Alida[/name_f], I thought of [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Edna[/name_f], and [name_f]Alba[/name_f].*
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is my favourite of the options you listed. I love [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] as well and think she would fit in nicely with your boys. I think the pairing [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] could be another strong option!
I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] a lot! [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a bit shorter than your boys’ names but still fits beautifully into the set, and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] pairs nicely as a middle but also seems right at home on among your other names.
I like both [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] a great deal but don’t necessarily love them together.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] seems to work very well in you set, perhaps finding the right middle would help you feel passionate about the name. (Or [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] with the right middle if you lean more towards that name.) Your other names have a good balance of sound, which I think is lost in [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] with the double -a endings.
