Option 1: [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] S. (Max, [name_m]Wells[/name_m], MJ)
Option 2: [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] S. (Toby, TJ)
I’m leaning towards 1, my husband prefers 2, but for me it comes down to [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] S. vs. [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] S. and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] S is a “crisper” sound, I feel like the Ss muddle the names in the case of [name_m]Tobias[/name_m].
Both are great names but my vote goes to [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] S. feels like it blends together a little too much to me. [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] is a very sweet combo and I think he works great with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]!
Would you consider just [name_m]Toby[/name_m] to avoid the S clash? [name_m]Toby[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]? Might need a new middle of too much B?
I’m a [name_m]Max[/name_m] fan but don’t warm to [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] at all so for different reasons- I love [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] - I would go [name_m]Max[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. I also think [name_m]Max[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] flows better.
Another vote for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. I like how it blends with the other names. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m].
In my opinion, the long I sound off [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] makes it stand out and NOT “blend” with the other names. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and ToBIas. All I remember when I say the three names is the long I sound.
I’ve never thought of using the nickname [name_m]Wells[/name_m] for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]! I love that!
They both are great options so you can’t go wrong either way. I think I like Option 1 more with your other sons names though. it just feels like it flows nicely!
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] sounds better together but [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] flows better as an individual combo.
I get what you mean, I just don’t love [name_m]Toby[/name_m] alone, or [name_m]Max[/name_m] alone, [name_m]Max[/name_m] only because it was the name of my childhood dog and while I barely remember the dog, I think “Maxwell” sounds more like a human name. I don’t mind it as nickname obviously.
Both are beautiful names! I prefer [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] myself, I don’t like how the L transitions to an S in any S surname I’ve tried (Maxwell [name_m]Smith[/name_m], [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Sullivan[/name_m], [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] Svensen, [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Sewell[/name_m], [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] Stravinsky, sl is just easier to say than ls?). Plus I just like [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] more… I like [name_m]Max[/name_m] but I much prefer [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] to [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] personally. I love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] together!
First off, your sons have lovely names! Between [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] & [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] the latter is my favorite personally (although I do really like [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] too), but [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] sounds a little more cohesive with A r t h u r & H u g o
