*To clarify from the start, I’m not expecting, just collecting.
[name]Luna[/name] has been my favorite name for ages now, but I’m starting to question whether or not its that useable. What kind of girl/woman do you picture? Who would her siblings be? I tend to like classic names with funky middles, and I worry [name]Luna[/name] could be too ‘little girl cute’ to make it in the grown up world. Is it a name you would (or have) use for your own child? What’s your first impression of the name [name]Luna[/name]?

I love [name]Luna[/name], but wouldn’t use it because it is too matchy with my son’s name ([name]Luther[/name]). I think [name]Luna[/name] is usable. I don’t find it cutesy, so I can easily picture it on a grown woman. In a world full of a Kylies, Kaylees and etc, [name]Luna[/name] will age just fine imo. If you check out Behind the Name’s website, they show that [name]Luna[/name] is actually somewhat common in other countries. That lends it some credibility and substance. It also makes it more wearable. I do associate it with the character Luna from True Blood. She is beautiful and strong. I also associate it with Luna from Harry Potter, who is quirky and whimsical.
