“Why are boys names so hard??” - quote, my other half! LOL
Hey Berries,
So my SO is basically indifferent to 98% of boys names with his response being either “ew, no” or just “meh…” shrugs We have three boys’ names that we love, and would use as FNs, but we can’t find any middles that we like (read: we can’t find any that HE likes). We’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
Our criteria is that the names have to unique and spunky. Vintage and sophisticated is also allowed. Nothing that is super common or boring (no [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Albert[/name_m]).
Our names are [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Jensen[/name_u], and [name_u]Parker[/name_u]…
What are your thoughts on middles for these?? All ideas and comments welcome!
I think the winners are in your signature…unless your SO have already “meh’d” them ; )
[name_m]Boyd[/name_m] and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] are both great and sound great with all three of the names you’ve listed.
My favourites are [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Boyd[/name_m], [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] and [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] [name_u]Indigo[/name_u].
What about [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] - awesome!
[name_u]Parker[/name_u] is fairly common around me and more mainstream, so I like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] more for you. You could use two of these names together: [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u], [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] [name_u]Parker[/name_u], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Jensen[/name_u], [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]… Unless your last name is two syllables as well and you’d rather not have a 2-2 combo? Some other ideas:
And throwing out [name_m]Jarvis[/name_m], [name_m]Thayer[/name_m], [name_u]Lennox[/name_u], [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. Good luck!
[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is definitely our front runner at the moment. We love the uniqueness and Greekness, also the meaning.
Last name is 2 syllables, starts with X and ends with S. I’m not two worried about the syllables, but I am conscious of over doing the X, Z, or S sounds.
We were thinking [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] for a while… but something a bit more spunky would be nice.
I quite like [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. Also, [name_u]Lennox[/name_u]. Thanks for the ideas! Xo
So, my SO has decided he like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] as well (yay! I love it too), but again… no MN seems to work…
We have [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Emmerson[/name_m] written down temporarily, but he’s only 79.9% sold on it (I quite like it though). He wants something more funky. He’s already screwed her face up at [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], and [name_u]Everett[/name_u].
Thoughts???
I feel like boy names are hard because it’s much more traditional naming territory, so I keep running into the same names.
These came to me just now for you:
[name_m]Indio[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
Kensho
[name_m]Wells[/name_m]
[name_u]Mika[/name_u]
Miró
[name_m]Vincent[/name_m]
[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]
[name_u]Claude[/name_u]
[name_m]Marius[/name_m]
Levent
[name_m]Cassius[/name_m]
Boys names are hard because there’s so many good ones in my opinion. I will work from your signature and suggest [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
Huh, I hadn’t thought of that one at all. I really like it! Thanks. [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Ramsey[/name_m] is probably my pick from your list.
Yeah, we love Sebatian. Been a favourite for a long time.
I really like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. Although, I am more inclined towards the Scottish variant, [name_m]Euan[/name_m].
Thanks for the suggestions.
