Lucifer’s got quite an appealing sound — light and refined, with an edge to it. You might like other [name_u]Lu[/name_u]- names like [name_m]Lucian[/name_m], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_m]Luther[/name_m], [name_f]Lumi[/name_f], or other -er ending names like [name_m]Casper[/name_m], [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], [name_m]Foster[/name_m], etc. One name that I think has a similar feel to [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m] without the associations is [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] :blush:

I also like the name [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m]. It’s elegant and flowy and I personally am attracted to the ‘bad guy’ aura of it, as well as the moral message behind the character himself. Alternatives I haven’t seen mentioned yet:

[name_m]Lucius[/name_m] ‘loo-see-us’ - like [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m], it is derived from the latin lux, meaning “light”.
Caelifer - means “supporting the heavens”
Calcifer - literary name, from Howls Moving [name_m]Castle[/name_m]
Muzaffer - Turkish, meaning “victorious, triumphant”
Olifer - a medieval Latin form of [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
Ranefer - Ancient Egyptian, meaning “Ra is beautiful”

I love it too, mainly because I’m obsessed with the TV show [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m], but I wouldn’t use on a real person, maybe [name_m]Luciano[/name_m]

Alternatives could be Stellifer(means star bearer) or Solifer(sun bearer). Maybe even [name_u]Conifer[/name_u]?
