I was watching this video a little while ago and I decided put a little commentary of the names mentioned here. Lmk if you want me to this for every “[name_u]Baby[/name_u] Name [name_f]Monday[/name_f]” video!
[name_u]Falcon[/name_u] - Fits the “wild” category, but maybe is a little “too wild.”
[name_m]Moss[/name_m] - A little short, but I think [name_f]Mossie[/name_f] would be really cute.
[name_f]Valley[/name_f] - Has a vintage sound even if it is modern; really cute!
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] - [name_f]My[/name_f] guess is that this one will be the favorite among the berries!
[name_m]Vine[/name_m] - I think it’s too associated with the app (RIP [name_m]Vine[/name_m] ).
[name_u]Wilder[/name_u] - Weirdly, I don’t think this is “too wild.” I actually really like it, it reminds me of [name_f]Laura[/name_f] Ingalls [name_u]Wilder[/name_u].
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] - Fast fashion, already out of style.
[name_u]Forest[/name_u] - I love it for a boy! Probably the most obvious yet overlooked nature name.
[name_m]Lathan[/name_m] - Prn like [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] with an L. Not my favorite for that exact reason.
[name_u]Tempest[/name_u] - I love it! Something about it sounds dramatic (but in a good way).
[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] - Greek mythology!!! (That was my only comment…) It has a cool look with the Z and the Y.
Hemlock - Sounds similar to [name_m]Sherlock[/name_m], but without the cool connection.
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] - It has the fashionable “[name_u]Ever[/name_u]” sound without being [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. I really like this for either gender.
[name_f]Devereux[/name_f] - Very dramatic, but I’m not sure I like it very much.
[name_u]Montana[/name_u] - Nickname [name_m]Monty[/name_m] is ADORABLE! Nice meaning in “mountain.”
[name_f]Topanga[/name_f] - The most beautiful meaning (“Where the mountains meet the sea”), but I’m not really a fan of the sound.
[name_m]Ignacio[/name_m] - Means “fire,” cool sound and meaning! Multiple ways to prn this, my favorite is Eeg-nah-see-o. Lmk your favorite! Bonus nn [name_m]Iggy[/name_m]!
[name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] - Similar to [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but less common. Might be a bit too “[name_f]Rhode[/name_f] [name_u]Island[/name_u]” for Americans, but others won’t have that connection.
[name_f]Enya[/name_f] - I think this is too associated with the singer, but it has the most gorgeous sound. Also means “fire.”
Coast - I prefer [name_u]Cove[/name_u], it sounds a little harsh and reminds me of coasters.
Let me know your opinions on these names. Favorites, least favorites, etc…
- Yes
- No
- [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t care either way
