Was wondering what people thought about the name [name]Wilder[/name] for a boy?
Not knowing your reasons, just as a name, I don’t think I’d use it for the very obvious wild, wilder, wildest. But don’t listen to me because as I’m typing I realize I have no problem with Wilde, or Wylde lol!
I love it!!! Its cute, unique yet shouldnt get strange looks for being “too unique”
It reminds me of Almanzo [name]Wilder[/name] from the [name]Little[/name] House on the [name]Prairie[/name] books.

I think it is kind of cool, actually! It reminds me of [name]Laura[/name] Ingalls [name]Wilder[/name], and I’m all for literary names, really. [name]Austen[/name] ([name]Jane[/name]) and [name]Wilder[/name] ([name]Laura[/name] Ingalls) would be really cute together, as each name has a rugged, manly feel!
I’d pair it with something classic and strong, like [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Wilder[/name] [name]James[/name], [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Robert[/name], or even [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Henry[/name], just to anchor the name and give the boy something to fall back on if [name]Wilder[/name] isn’t for him. But, Wilde is a cute nickname, as is [name]Wiley[/name] - love that!

I actually know a guy named Wildish, and he’s constantly getting comments about how awesome his name is.
