  • I think Goldie will enter the top 1000 with a big jump : 2 (8%)
  • I think Goldie will enter but not by much. : 3 (12%)
  • I don’t think Goldie will enter in 2019’s data but I could see it entering in the next 2 to 5 years : 7 (28%)
  • I could see it entering the top 1000 sometime but I don’t think it will be any time soon : 8 (32%)
  • I don’t see Goldie entering the top 1000 ever (or at the very least in my lifetime): 5 (20%)

[name_f]Goldie[/name_f] ranked #1552 in 2018 in the USA. I don’t see it entering the top 1000 in my lifetime and if it does, I think it would just scrape the bottom of the rankings. I could see [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] hitting the top 1000 in the next few years.

I think it could enter, following [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] (which I definitely do see entering the ranks in the next 5 years), but I don’t think it’ll be that quickly. If [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] takes 5 years, then [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] will take 7, that kind of thing.

Potentially it could enter the top 1000. It reminds me of names like [name_f]Edie[/name_f], [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], [name_f]Effie[/name_f] etc

I see how it could, but I would be very surprised if it happened in a year. I think it will likely take 5 or so years before it makes it in. I don’t believe we’ll be seeing it near the top of the charts, at least not for a good long while, but if the trend for older, vintage names, combined with the trend for nickname-y names goes on, then yes, I can see it in the top 1000
