I am due in less than 4 weeks, and I feel like I am going crazy. I am having a boy. This is my second son and last child. I am feeling the pressure to find the perfect name for this little guy, since he will be our last child.
When we named our first son, his name just jumped off the page at us and was IT (his name is [name]Easton[/name]). I have yet to have that reaction to a name for this one.
We have a handful of names that we like, but I just keep thinking the perfect name is still out there. I am afraid that I will have to compromise on this babies name, since I don’t love any of our names.
[name]Do[/name] you think there is a point when you just have to stop searching for THE name? I swear at this point I have heard every name ever created, and I still haven’t had the reaction I am looking for. Should I just stop searching, or is it really possible that THE name is still out there?
Our names on our list right now are:
[name]Crosby[/name],
[name]Jett[/name],
[name]Owen[/name],
[name]Liam[/name],
[name]Finn[/name] and
[name]Lawson[/name].
Here is my criteria:
- Sounds good with [name]Easton[/name]
- Can’t end in R (last name ends in er)
- Masculine (couldn’t be a girls name)
- Not too popular
- Can’t be shortened to a common NN
- No more than 2 syllables
I am being too picky? Any suggestions for uncommon names that I may not have heard before?
