Will little one be confused with actor?

So after some discussion with you (and my husband is good with or without J) Im leaning towards not using a J for our third son. Our first is [name_m]Joel[/name_m] and second is [name_u]Jonah[/name_u]. I really like [name_m]Simon[/name_m]. Our last name is [name_u]Baker[/name_u] though.

Have you ever heard of [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Baker[/name_u] the actor? If so, do you think it a deal breaker and I shouldn’t choose [name_m]Simon[/name_m]?

I don’t think I know who he is. But even if I did, I imagine no one would mistake your little son with a grown male actor.

No idea who he is. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Baker[/name_u] sounds great!

I have heard of the actor, but I don’t think it should be a concern. Go for it!

No I haven’t heard of [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Baker[/name_u], first thought is [name_m]Simon[/name_m] Cowell when I hear [name_m]Simon[/name_m]

I know who he is but haven’t seen him in anything recently. I think it’s kind of nice to have a “namesake” of sorts. I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker as long as the guy isn’t up and coming (which this guy definitely is not) and isn’t known for doing anything bad

My first/last name combo is pretty common on its own but it’s also a googleable character’s name and I like the anonymity that lends me.

Honestly I think it’s fine. I’ve never heard of him before.

Never heard of him. I think it’s fine!

Don’t know this actor and [name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_u]Baker[/name_u] is a beautiful name! It goes well with your other boys names :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t know who Simon Baker is (sorry, Simon). I don’t think it is a deal breaker at all. Simon is an amazing name. If you love it, please, use it!

Update: I did a small research to find out who’s the actor. I know his face and I think I have watched some of his works, but I had no idea what was his name. Nowadays, the actor is not very famous. That aspect can obviously change at any time, but I don’t think you need to worry about it. Both Simons will have a big age gap. Besides that, Simon is a classic name and Baker is also a very traditional surname! It’s completely different than choosing an unique combination like Leonardo Dicaprio, Denzel Washington, Timothée Chalamet or Bradley Pitt. Notice that there are many boys/men named Will Smith and Chris Evans out there. They probably ear a comment about the actors sometimes, but I don’t think it is a big deal.

Yes, I’ve heard of him! But it wouldn’t bother me to see the name on the child.

Never heard of the actor before.

Good looking, inoffensive actor. Not many people under about 40 would know him. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] is a great name, I’d use it if you love it.

I have NO CLUE who you are referring to. But if you are concerned [name_m]Silas[/name_m] or [name_m]Simeon[/name_m] could be close biblical alternatives

It sounds familiar, but I cannot off the top of my head think of who he is. I think both [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and [name_u]Baker[/name_u] are common enough names it shouldn’t be a problem.

I have never heard of him.

I know the actor cause I loved the show he was in. Though if I met your boy, I wouldn’t associate the name with the actors. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] is quite popular and so does [name_u]Baker[/name_u], it’s not like [name_f]Zendaya[/name_f] for example.

Nah never heard of the actor. I think of the chipmunk first :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

For me this one’s a bad association for some reason but I love the name [name_m]Simon[/name_m] regardless

Never heard of the actor - [name_m]Simon[/name_m] works well

Never heard of him!
