Will "Ruby" ever enter the top 50?

My love affair with the name [name]Ruby[/name] began years ago but now it is full blown. [name]Even[/name] though child bearing is years down the line for me, popularity status freaks me out! I just need opinions from other name nerds about their predictions on this name in the next 10 years or so!
Thanks in advance, Berries!

I am thinking that it is on its way “in”. I am with you though. [name]Love[/name] It.

I also love it, but I can definitely see it entering the Top 50. Quite frankly, I’m almost surprised that it isn’t there already.

Next year no maybe not the year after that
In ten years [name]Ruby[/name] will be top 50. Maybe even five years.
Good [name]Luck[/name]!
As someone with no immediate plans to have kids I understand.

I’m amazed that it’s not in the top 20 to be honest. I know 2 Rubys myself. I do love the name. But it seems way more popular than the stats let on.

I like it too and it has familial ties to me but I can totally see it entering the top 50 very soon.
If you really like it but popularity becomes an issue, maybe use it as a middle name

[name]Ruby[/name] is steadily climbing upwards in popularity but as of right now it’s only #106. I could see it getting close to the top 50 within the next 10 years but I don’t really see it becoming that popular. Only time will tell.

In the UK it has been insanely popular and here in Australia about three years ago I was wondering if [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Ruby[/name] were the only legally recognised middle names for a while there; every [name]Sunday[/name] it seemed we had a Christening for [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Ruby[/name].

Norbury, I hear you on that, I am in [name]New[/name] Zealand and lots of [name]Ruby[/name]'s, and a ridiculous amount of mn [name]Grace[/name]'s!

Yes, [name]Ruby[/name] is on its way to becoming a top 50 name. Nothing wrong with that.

I would definitely say that [name]Ruby[/name] is headed to the Top 100 or above. It has a lot going for it: the vintage feel, the nature aspect, the -y ending, plus it’s a nice name. I know several young girls named [name]Ruby[/name] (which I actually was surprised about, and surprised to learn how high it is on the list. I was thinking maybe 200, but it’s 106.) I would say by the time you have children, it will at least be in the Top 100. I can’t see it getting into the top 20, though.

I think [name]Ruby[/name] is definitely gaining popularity. I’m not sure it will ever be top 10, but it’s definitely going up, and for good reason- it’s gorgeous.

[name]Ruby[/name] has been in the top 20 here (Australia) for a number of years now. A few years ago I thought every second baby girl I met was named [name]Ruby[/name] (now it seems they are all name [name]Charlotte[/name])

Yes it is. I can see it going Top 20 over time.

[name]Ruby[/name] is the number one name in my state of Australia! Nationwide I think it’s in the top 15
