I love the name Aubryn. I love how it has Au names in it and [name]Bryn[/name]. what do you think?
I think it’s a cool twist on [name]Aubrey[/name]. It’s unique, pretty, and interesting. Plus, it seems like it would be easy to spell and pronounce.
It’s nice, reminds me of auburn a little, but still pretty
It’s nice. I personally prefer [name]Aubrey[/name], but Aubryn is still pretty. I think it could age well, especially with the nickname [name]Aubrey[/name].
Sorry, I must be the only one, but I really can’t see the appeal at all. To me, [name]Aubrey[/name] is a boys’ name, and so is [name]Bryn[/name] (okay, they’re both seen as unisex now, but I think they’re so much more attractive as boys’ names, and will always be masculine to me), so smushing them together to create Aubryn doesn’t appeal to me at all. Sorry. I can’t really see it aging well, either.
Yeah, to me this seems VERY trendy, from the Au- beginning to the extraneous ‘y’ to the fact that it’s a smoosh of two popular names. I think it will seem dated fast. But if you love it, by all means use it!
I have liked it for 4 years now. but i’m name obsessed so it changes
So cute! [name]Love[/name] it
I’m sorry, I agree with ashthedreamer…it sounds like a smoosh, and it has a very trendy feel (which means that it’ll sound really dated soon!). It also sounds like “auburn” - which isn’t a bad thing, just something I noticed when I said it aloud.
I prefer [name]Audra[/name] or [name]Audrey[/name], or even [name]Aubrey[/name] itself (which, while trendy, is a nice name, for either sex!).
Or the [name]Bryn[/name]/[name]Brynn[/name]/[name]Brynne[/name] spelling variations.
I don’t care for it at all. [name]Aubrey[/name] and [name]Bryn[/name] are both masculine names.
[name]Audra[/name] / [name]Audrey[/name] / [name]Audrina[/name] would be muc more feminine and age well.
It’s a pretty idea, and sound, but it’s too smoosh/tryndee. I don’t see it aging well.
Aubrin or Aubren is better, but even then, still ehhh.
i agree with a few others that it seems very trendy, sorry. I don’t necessarily mind the sound of it but would be worried that it would not be dignified as she got older, sorry.
I don’t like it and don’t think it will age well. [name]Audrey[/name] is lovely though!
I hate the name [name]Aubrey[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] and all the variations, so don’t really care for Aubryn sorry. Seems sooo trendy especially with the y thrown in there.
I disagree… I like it…and I’ve never ever met a male [name]Aubry[/name] or [name]Bryn[/name]
I prefer the spelling Aubren. -yn spellings tend to be more at risk for “did you make that up?” judgment, which is always frustrating to deal with – especially if it’s NOT “made up” by any definition.
