Will you please help me?!

My husband is basically giving no input and I have no idea what to name this kid. It will be our fourth daughter. Our first three are:
[name]Marie[/name]
[name]Renee[/name]
& [name]Noelle[/name]

The two names that we are stuck on are [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Cae[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name]. Is there an obvious best choice out of these? Are they both terrible? Is there another name we should consider? Why do kids need names?!?! I so just want to call her Thing 4 at this point!

Please advise.

I think both [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Cae[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name] are gorgeous! [name]Daphne[/name] is my preference of the two, and I think it’s great with [name]Marie[/name], [name]Renee[/name], and [name]Noelle[/name].

My first two thoughts for suggestions were [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Camille[/name], actually–two feminine, two-syllable names with emphasis on the second syllable, that are more often than not seen in the MN spot. I think they’d both be gorgeous with your girls, but I think [name]Daphne[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] suits just as well.

Good luck!

I think they are both great, but [name]Daphne[/name] appeals to me a little more.

I really like [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name]! Have you though about swapping the names to [name]Lorraine[/name] [name]Rose[/name]? I think [name]Lorraine[/name] goes really beautifully with [name]Marie[/name], [name]Renee[/name], and [name]Noelle[/name].

[name]Both[/name] choices are great, but I think that [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name] goes best with [name]Marie[/name], [name]Renee[/name], and [name]Noelle[/name].
[name]Hope[/name] that helps!

Wow, ashthedreamer just took the words right out of my mouth! (Or fingers, ha.) When I read your first three daughters’ names, I immediately thought: [name]Elise[/name]!

I don’t love [name]Daphne[/name], it always sounds a little…ditzy. I’d go for [name]Rose[/name] otherwise, but…yeah, [name]Elise[/name]!

I like these 2 suggestions.

[name]One[/name] can I thank you for having [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Renee[/name] as first names instead of middles? My first name is [name]Renee[/name] and my mom’s middle name is [name]Marie[/name]. It’s just cool to see. I also really like [name]Noelle[/name].

As far as the two names your stuck on, I’m no help. I like [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Rose[/name]. Again, it’s nice to see [name]Rose[/name] being used up front instead of the middle. I knew a woman named [name]Rose[/name] who was a bit older than my mom who was a great dignified woman and a community leader. She died of cancer a few years back, but even as she was dying she was incredible. [name]Even[/name] her wake was awesome. She was just one of those people I felt honored to know.

Enough reminiscing on my part, you might want to hold on to both names and decide which one suits her when she’s born. You also may want to go more French since your other daughters names are French. I’ve heard [name]Daphne[/name] gets some use there though.

Of the two I’d pick [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name]. [name]Daphne[/name] is okay too, not crazy about [name]Cae[/name] though. Can I suggest [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Daphne[/name]?

I definitely like [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name] better with your other girls. I also like lori johnson’s suggestions of [name]Claire[/name], [name]Elise[/name], and [name]Julie[/name].

I really like both names! I think [name]Rose[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name] is my favorite and it sounds better with the sisters. It’s kind of like you have a progression of sound with your girls. [name]Marie[/name] to [name]Renee[/name], the “R” from [name]Marie[/name] gets carried over and the first “e” sounds the same as the “a” in [name]Renee[/name]. The strongest thing tying in [name]Noelle[/name] right now is the two syllable thing, but if you added in [name]Rose[/name] it would tie them together with the “o” sound and bring it around full circle to the “r” of the earlier names. Whereas if you used [name]Daphne[/name], it would be tied to the first two names with the “ee” ending like [name]Marie[/name] and the second syllable starting with “n,” but [name]Noelle[/name] would sound random. I know that sounds really overthought, but it’s just my explanation of my instant reaction and feelings about the name combos. HTH!

As your 1st 3 girls have feminine and french names I don’t think either [name]Daphne[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] “fits”. [name]How[/name] about [name]Juliet[/name]/ [name]Juliette[/name] or [name]Christine[/name]?
I also like the suggestion of [name]Camille[/name] or [name]Elise[/name].
