I really like [name_f]Willa[/name_f], and I do prefer it to [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is vintage and has been used for a long time, and I find it very sweet. I’ve never met a [name_f]Willa[/name_f], and I don’t think it’s trendy at all: The popular [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is, but [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is far more unique.
I think it’s lovely. I personally don’t know of any, although I will say that I’m hearing/seeing it more and more in namenerd and celebrity circles of late.
That said, I don’t find it trendy at all. On-trend, yes, but it’s got a long history and a great literary namesake in [name_f]Willa[/name_f] Cather to keep it feeling deeply rooted.
I love it! It’s really grown on me over the years. It’s soft and sweet. Agree with the above, not trendy but definitely on-trend.
Unfortunately, I just hear “[name_m]Will[/name_m] I?” which ruins it for me. There’s nothing wrong with it though, and while I love [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] I certainly prefer it to [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] love love [name_f]Willa[/name_f]!
I adore [name_f]Willa[/name_f]; full of charm, spunk, and sweetness. I have never known or met one.
