I usually prefer to stick with the original spelling of names. However, as much as I love [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], I’m just not sure how I feel about that ‘h’ in there. Does [name_f]Willemina[/name_f] look like a made-up spelling? [name_m]How[/name_m] would you spell it if you were to use the name? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name is too much for a little girl?

I’d use [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], if not that, I’d go with [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] as even though [name_f]Willemina[/name_f] is a Duch variation of [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], I don’t think it’s a spelling most people are used to or even know; in the English-speaking-world, [name_f]Willamina[/name_f] might be the easiest way to go.
I prefer your spelling. Nn [name_f]Willa[/name_f]? Cute! [name_f]Willemina[/name_f] is definitely a mouthful! But I like it, makes me think of a little girl with daisies…
