William or Aidan?

[name]Just[/name] planning ahead for any future bumps, but which do you prefer?

I know [name]Aidan[/name] is really trendy and popular right now, but is a very uncommon name where I live and my husbands parents are Irish so I’d love to use it!

On the other hand, I love [name]William[/name]. Its so masculine & classy, with the cute nn [name]Liam[/name] for a child and handsome nn [name]Will[/name] for a man.

What do you think?

Middle names would be :

[name]Aidan[/name] [name]Joshua[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]
[name]William[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] [name]James[/name]

Open to any opinions or suggestions, thanks.

I love [name]William[/name]. He’s one of my all time favorites. I prefer [name]William[/name] over [name]Aidan[/name] by a long shot.

I also love [name]William[/name]. [name]William[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] [name]James[/name] has a much better flow in my opinion anyway.

[name]William[/name] definitely. [name]Aiden[/name] will sound dated.

Definitely [name]William[/name]! That’s my second favorite boys’ name. It’s classic and warm, and [name]Aidan[/name] is so common and dated.

Definitely [name]William[/name], especially since you like the cute nickname [name]Liam[/name]. While [name]Aidan[/name] might not be popular in your area right now you have to think about how your child would be confronted with tons of other [name]Aidan[/name]'s his age once he goes off to college, etc. Plus like others have mentioned already [name]Aidan[/name] really is dated at this point and everyone has heard it. I work at a baby clothing store and I hear the name [name]Aidan[/name] literally every day.
