i love willow, i do prefer it on a girl myself but i also love seeing it on a boy! it’s just such a brilliant name 
i like willow more than william, and for me, they’re far too similar for siblings, it would maybe work if they were willow ____ and _____ william, but as firsts they’re too close
i would pair quite a masculine middle with willow, because it is more popular on girls (at least where i am)

Willow and [name_m]William[/name_m] are definitely too close for siblings. I prefer [name_u]Willow[/name_u], including for a boy. The nickname [name_m]Will[/name_m] is lovely and the O ending sound is cool and dynamic for either sex.

I love [name_u]Willow[/name_u] on a boy! I like it more than [name_m]William[/name_m] as I find [name_m]William[/name_m] just a tad plain (though I love nn [name_m]Will[/name_m]). I do prefer it as a middle name since it’s so popular for girls, but I think it still works on a boy since it’s a word name, and the nickname [name_m]Will[/name_m] is masculine.
[name_u]Willow[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] are too similar for siblings imo. I’d go for a traditional, clearly masculine middle for [name_u]Willow[/name_u] ([name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_u]George[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], etc) and something more exciting and unique for [name_m]William[/name_m] to spice it up.

I really like [name_u]Willow[/name_u]! For some reason I especially love it for a boy middle–although I also like it for a girl, and I also think it works as a boy first! It’s definitely too similar to [name_m]William[/name_m] for my liking if they’re both firsts though. For middles, I’d probably choose something warm and traditional for [name_u]Willow[/name_u] ([name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u] [name_m]Peter[/name_m]?), and something a little more unexpected for [name_m]William[/name_m] ([name_m]William[/name_m] [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_m]William[/name_m] Bluebird?).

I love [name_u]Willow[/name_u] for a boy, I much prefer it to [name_m]William[/name_m], actually. [name_u]Willow[/name_u] is fun and unexpected for a boy, and it comes with the simple and short nn ‘[name_m]Will[/name_m]’, which I love! I do think [name_u]Willow[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] are too close for siblings, but perhaps one could be a middle name?
I have [name_u]Willow[/name_u] Trueheart as a combo, but I do think that something traditional and masculine might fit well!
