The arrival of our twins (boy and girl) are soon but we are still deciding on a name for our baby girl. We love both ,[name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], but can’t decide which one will work best. We are afraid [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is to out there and that [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] might sounds to harsh for a baby girl. PLEASE HELP !
I would choose [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. A simple spunky classic. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is too wordy for me as a combo but I wouldn’t really consider [name_f]Willow[/name_f] as too out there if that’s what you’re mainly concerned about.
Agree with the above. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] sounds spunky and serious, and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] sounds a bit like a cartoon character.
If you’re going with [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] for the boy, I also think it’s nice that they would have different ending sounds.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] is in the top 100, so I don’t think it’s too out there and would be ok with a different middle.
If you think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is too harsh for a baby, you can always give her a nickname:
[name_f]Lettie[/name_f]
[name_u]Red[/name_u]
S.E. / [name_f]Essie[/name_f]
I love [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] !!!
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is gorgeous and my favourite of those. I don’t find [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] harsh at all, but if you do [name_f]Letty[/name_f] is a nice nn. I also know a [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] whose family call her [name_f]Star[/name_f] for short.
If I’m understanding correctly her brother’s name will be [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] yes? In which case I would definitely choose [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. What a perfect sibset!
I like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], and while you don’t have to use it I’ve always liked the nickname [name_u]Scout[/name_u].
Thank you so much everyone ! We decided on [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] ,we can’t wait for our little blessings to arrive!
