Winifred Lily or Winifred Lilac?

I love [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] but I can’t help but be drawn to the springy step of [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I’m aware that [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is incredibly popular but personally I think it’s okay next to the very rare [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] and as the middle.
Any opinions or suggestions?

I prefer [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is lovely—one of my favorites—but with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] it seems a bit too stiff.

Agree with Otri. [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is lovely.

@otri Hm, I see what you mean! I feel that way too. I think I should start finding a better mate for [name_f]Lilac[/name_f].

I like both, but I like [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] a bit more, I think! I miss your [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], though!

@ashthedreamer thank you!! I miss it too but I was torn because I just adore [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] as a first name.

[name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]…Pretty!

[name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] brings the name into a ‘now’ not an ‘olden’ place, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] sounds pretty but it was a often used combo a few generations back. So I like the new feel of [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] as well as loving the name. [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] they are all names I dearly wish would become a little more used.

@thejonesgirl Thank you so much!! I love your thoughts… I like what you said. I might hang onto it then!

Definitely [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f].

I like the name [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] but I think it sounds to stiff and harsh when you place it together with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]. [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is one of those classic combinations that is timeless and suits all ages. I think [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] may sound dated after a decade or so.

I prefer [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]. Such a dainty, beautiful name!

Really love [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] because it is unexpected!

So many conflicting opinions, haha! I understand both sides… I think I’ll hang on to [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] just until I find a better combo for [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] as a first.

I love both but I definitely prefer Winifred Lilac! It’s just so beautiful and unexpected.

Edit: I really love Lilac as a first name!
