Winter names!

[name_u]Winter[/name_u] is a very important season for me. It represents a lot of memories from my childhood as well as where I was raised. I’d like to hear some winter names.

Ones I can’t use but like:
[name_f]Merry[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
Any other [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] name

Ones I don’t really like:
[name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]

Can you think of anything for me?

Have you considered using the name of where you grow up or another place that brings up childhood memories ?

Boys/unisex:
[name_m]Fraser[/name_m]
[name_u]Ember[/name_u]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] ([name_u]Frost[/name_u])
[name_m]Forrest[/name_m]

Girls:
[name_f]Niamh[/name_f] (I prefer Neev spelling) means “snow”
[name_f]Nieva[/name_f] (Spanish for snow)
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_u]January[/name_u]
[name_f]Olwen[/name_f] (meaning “white footprint” referring to the prints left when we walk through the snow)

I love winter names!

Boys:
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]
[name_u]Blaze[/name_u] (Reference to a snowstorm)
[name_m]Christian[/name_m]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (Means “bringer of treasure”)
[name_m]Jonah[/name_m] (Means “dove”)
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m] (Means “dove”
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_u]Noel[/name_u] (Another name for [name_u]Christmas[/name_u])

Girls:
[name_f]Alaska[/name_f]

[name_f]Carol[/name_f]
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] (Means “snow”)
[name_f]Lumi[/name_f] (Means “snow”)
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f] (Means “[name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_u]Day[/name_u]”)
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] (Means “[name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_u]Day[/name_u]”)
[name_f]Natasha[/name_f] (Means “[name_u]Christmas[/name_u] [name_u]Day[/name_u]”)
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] (Means “[name_u]Christmas[/name_u]”)
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] (Means “star”)

[name_f]Eira[/name_f] (snow) came to mind

[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] or any name with the nickname [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] could work!
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f] (camellias are flowers that can bloom in winter)
Khione (the greek word for snow, and a snow-related figure in Greek mythology)
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] (this might be a bit of a stretch, but a lot of coffee shops create different hazelnut-y drinks for the holidays)
[name_f]Maple[/name_f] (just has a general wintery feel for me + it’s one of the few plant-based things that can be naturally farmed during winter)
[name_f]Eula[/name_f]/[name_f]Yulia[/name_f] (sounds like [name_u]Yule[/name_u]/Yuletide)

I was coming to suggest [name_f]Neve[/name_f]/[name_f]Nieve[/name_f], so considered it seconded. [name_u]Ember[/name_u] is nice too. I think [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] means white, so [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] and all its variants could also evoke snow. Another possibility is Amaryllis, a winter flower.
