So I am naming a little girl due [name_u]November[/name_u] 30. I am thinking about naming her [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. What do you think of when you hear the name [name_u]Winter[/name_u]? What about a middle name? I was thinking about [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] (after the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] character, but [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_m]Granger[/name_m] is good too). Any thoughts?

I really like the name [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. I would like to use it as a middle name. I think the nickname [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] is cute. I met a waitress named [name_u]Winter[/name_u] a few months ago. I told her I loved her name. She said people are always asking her if it’s her real name.
Another [name_u]Winter[/name_u] lover here - the name, that is. Definitely not the season! 
I think it’s gorgeous and much less expected than [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] or [name_f]Summer[/name_f]. It’s firmly on my own list, although I’ll probably never get to use it. My absolute favorite combo is [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
When I think of the name [name_u]Winter[/name_u] I can feel the calmness of the first snowfall. I love the feeling of the start of winter, the holiday season approaching, all of the fun winter activities like skiing, sledding, reading by the fire and drinking hot chocolate.
