I’m hoping to get some general opinions on what name for a young witch would be more suitable. She is pure of heart, takes good care of her family, a loving sister, beautiful, and brave. Dark brown/almost black hair, grey-blue eyes. Throw suggestions at me.
[name]Sister[/name]'s names are [name]Tressa[/name] and ?
[name]Cressida[/name] came to mind, but her sister is [name]Tressa[/name] so that doesn’t work.
[name]Cornelia[/name], [name]Hestia[/name], [name]Brigitta[/name].
I love the idea of a witch named [name]Helena[/name]. Maybe [name]Sonja[/name], [name]Etta[/name], [name]Eleanora[/name], [name]Adela[/name], [name]Petra[/name] or [name]Flora[/name].

@redwoodfey - It’s high fantasy, created world, geared more toward teens/children. I wanted the characters to have names that wouldn’t be easily identified with any specific culture (like Italian or Japanese) since it’s not a place in our world, but I didn’t want to make anything up.
I really like [name]Sonia[/name] the most so far.
I think Chesten is pretty perfect, both Cornish names! Some others:

Apart from these Satia came to mind. It might be too obvious though, she was a goddess of witches. The same goes for Brisen (glowing, twinkling) who was a witch in Arthurian legends, and Caelia (sky) a fairy queen.
I really like pp suggestions of [name]Sonja[/name], [name]Petra[/name], and Satia a lot. There’s also [name]Saskia[/name], though that might be a little too fierce for your character.
Perhaps [name]Cybele[/name], [name]Sabine[/name], [name]Aoife[/name], [name]Damaris[/name], [name]Liesl[/name], [name]Eliska[/name], [name]Sandrine[/name], [name]Nola[/name], [name]Talitha[/name], Greenley, Anesidora, Briseis.

I would give veto points to [name]Samara[/name] because to me the name can’t be divorced from the disturbed and vengeful ghost from the horror film the [name]Ring[/name]. Unless your witch is going to go dark, I’d steer clear of this one. Perhaps [name]Senara[/name] or Satia instead?
I would personally not use Chesten because of the chest reference.

I’d go with one of these two. Satya means “truth” and one of my favorite yoga mantras is “sat nam” - “truth is my name” - quite powerful! Satia means fulfillment, and she is actually a goddess of witches, linked to Abonde and [name]Diana[/name]! You really can’t go wrong with either one, but I lean towards Satia since there’s already a witchy connection.
What is she like?
@sleepysessha - third sister is much younger than the other two, obedient, inquisitive, simple, carefree, and in a dreamlike state where she sees only the good, and anything is possible. I’d say about 11. She’s only in the beginning and end of the story, so not an important character. I’ve named her [name]Kiki[/name], [name]Penrose[/name], [name]Penna[/name], [name]Pearl[/name]… but I think a gemstone or plant name would be nice. I was thinking [name]Clary[/name] lately.
I would go with Satia, Satya or [name]Saskia[/name].
For the third sister I kind of like [name]Clary[/name]. Here are some gemstones and plants:
