We’re reviewing our middle name list (in time, I know!), and I think I’m running out of ideas - everything seems so boring and overused and just not exciting.
I’m looking for short-ish names with strong feminist history or literary/botanical flair, badass names, magical/“pagan-chic” names…Something like [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Ursula[/name_f], [name_f]Althea[/name_f], [name_f]Myrtle[/name_f], [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f], [name_f]Sable[/name_f], [name_f]Twyla[/name_f], [name_f]Sappho[/name_f]. Hubby is rooting for [name_f]Willow[/name_f] but we can’t use it, so if you could think of something that evokes [name_f]Willow[/name_f] without actually being [name_f]Willow[/name_f]/[name_f]Willa[/name_f] etc, that would be great. 
We’re avoiding A and W names this time around, but apart from that, I’m open to pretty much everything.

I have to recommend Bewitching Names. It’s a blog that should be google-able and FILLED with pagan/pagan lite names written by a pagan. Witchy names are kind of my jam and it’s a great resource.
I also love [name_f]Twyla[/name_f], [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f], and [name_f]Sappho[/name_f]. What great names.

I might be a little biased because I watched “Supernatural”, but I think that [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is a really witchy name. [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]/[name_f]Sybill/Cybil[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] are also great. Same with Morgan/Morgana, Morwenna, and Ceres.
