So recently I was going through my listography, where I have a list of my all time favorite girls names, and realized I havenā€™t updated it in awhile, so I wanted to take it here and get some opinions!!

I have sorted the current list in to three categories (loving, liking but on the backburner, and a little tired) and have also added a fourth category (potential new adds)

Please let me know what you think, specifically on the ā€œlittle tiredā€ and ā€œpotential new addsā€ list!! Based on what you know about me (or just your preferences), which names should I add or take away?

Definite Favourites:

I love a lot of these, including but not limited to [name_f]Augusta[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Hera[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Solja[/name_f]. If I had to ask you to lose any, however, Iā€™d choose [name_f]Lois[/name_f] and [name_f]Leona[/name_f]. I feel like they donā€™t go along with the rest of your list as brilliantly as they should. Between [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] and Roseline, Iā€™d choose the former since it is a more intuitive spelling. They are definitely more classic in style.

Still Like, but More Low-Key

I like this list better than the last since it is braver. I donā€™t have much to say about this one though. They go with the Definite Favourites as well.

[name_m]Little[/name_m] Tired

I think seeing [name_f]Clara[/name_f] everywhere on the forums wouldā€™ve probably caused your tiredness of it. Alternatives I can think of are [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] and Clare/Claire. [name_f]Edith[/name_f] is my favourite as is but perhaps youā€™d like [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]? [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Soleil[/name_f], [name_f]Coral[/name_f] (and variants), [name_f]Bijou[/name_f], [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f], [name_u]Vega[/name_u], [name_f]Luz[/name_f], [name_f]Soraya[/name_f], [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], [name_u]Kahlo[/name_u], [name_f]Angelou[/name_f] and [name_f]Maristela[/name_f] are other suggestions.

Potential [name_u]New[/name_u] Adds:

from the little tired list Iā€™d keep:

and based on my personal preferences Iā€™d add:

[name_f]Calla[/name_f] needs more love! [name_f]Lois[/name_f], too!
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] are fantastic especially together.
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] is a long-running fave of mine.

Iā€™d move [name_f]Vienna[/name_f], [name_f]Thomasine[/name_f], [name_f]Odette[/name_f], and [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] on up!!!

[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] is lovely, lovely, lovely! Main character in the seventh published book of mine coming out in the spring!

[name_f]Clara[/name_f] is my brand new granddaughter. Itā€™s such a great name but sits constantly on the edge now of a major burst. Internationally, it is huge.

[name_f]Anya[/name_f] and [name_u]Flannery[/name_u] go on and off my top 50 often.
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] is not a fave but I get it.
[name_u]Garnet[/name_u] is fantastic, period.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is ever lovely but a bit tired.
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] has remained on my personal top 50 for 20 years.
[name_f]Johanna[/name_f] is a major fave. She is the main character along with Mawd in the fourth book I had published. I LOVE this name.

[name_f]Mireille[/name_f]- I love the way it looks but not all the sp/pro issues.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]- Yes!
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]- Iā€™ll take [name_f]Violette[/name_f].
