I want to thank you guys so much for helping me - this has been quite a name search! Freya_1983 and jem and ottilie and several others were so helpful and we finally have a list to take to the hospital! [name_m]Just[/name_m] need help putting the names together.
First name possibilities:
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] - love the idea of starry wintery names for this baby, love the E in honor of my Grammy, [name_f]Edith[/name_f].
[name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] - possible nickname Riz, love the bright and clear meaning
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] - love the happy meaning and lots of nickname choices
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] - She is coming early, so a light name is great (advent) and again with the E. Huge [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] fan, so this name seems perfect, but can’t have an [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (family) so she needs to be [name_f]Elinor[/name_f], [name_f]Linnie[/name_f] or [name_u]Nori[/name_u]
Middles:
Any first name choice
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Maris[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Our last name is 2 syllables, starts with a C and ends in O.
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] has been on the list a while, and now I also like [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f]. Any combo suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again Berries!
You have wonderful choices to choose from, so I’m sure your new baby will have a great name. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f] have lovely meanings- I’m a fan!
Some combinations I made:
[name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Elinor[/name_f]
I think my favorites are [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f] and [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
Thanks for these - we had a delivery room naming disaster last time so I am insisting on taking 4 beautiful choices to the hospital. I forgot to mention that this tiny woman will be close in age to my toddler [name_u]Arden[/name_u] “[name_f]Birdie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]”, so from a sibset perspective it’s a little tricky. None of my others have nicknames, but they are 10+ years older.
My favourites are [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] but I think all of them sound great with [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] in the middle (my favourite from your middles list is [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] but I’m not sure how great it sounds with most of your firsts )
Great names! [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] are two of my all time favorites. I think my fav combos are [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], and [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f]. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f] would be cool too, because her name would mean star of the sea.
The four hubby approved names are delightful! I especially love [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f].
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] or [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
Congratulations!
Beautiful names - all 7 that have come before and the sets you have ready to go.
I personally like [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] as the first name and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] as the second name.
Why? Because you can build a dual nickname in when combined with your last name beginning with a ‘C’ too. You can call her C.C. Or Cee Cee as a nickname. Or you can go a little bit further and call her [name_f]CoCo[/name_f]. As her persoanlity develops, this will give you alittle bit more room to play around with coordinating her mood or her personality.
Thanks for hte opportunity to weigh in! Good luck!
