So I love names like [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], Isla… but they don’t have a deeper meaning beyond the word itself (i.e. [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] means red, violet means purple, isla means island, lily means the lily flower). Are there nature/word names like this that DO have a deeper meaning??
There is a long history of ‘flower language’ where different flowers symbolize different things! It’s been around for a long time and was particularly common during the Victorian [name_f]Era[/name_f]. I’m not an expert but you can read about it on Wikipedia here and here.
Otherwise maybe…

[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] → linked to the cassia tree, but also to the name [name_f]Keziah[/name_f] (meaning cinnamon bark, from the Hebrew ‘to scrape off’, linking to the biblical [name_m]Job[/name_m] ‘scraping off’ his past struggles. It’s also then linked to female equality sometimes, as Job’s daughters received equal inheritance from their father. It can also be taken from ‘Cassius’ meaning ‘hollow’)
[name_f]Rue[/name_f] → a medicinal herb, a word that means to repent or lament, a short form of [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] etc.
[name_f]Tansy[/name_f] → a flower and the name links to immortality and tenacity
[name_f]Saga[/name_f] → as in a saga (fairy tale, a long story, a folk tale), but it can also mean ‘seeing one’ or ‘seeress’
How about (and some repeats from other thread):

[name_f]Brooklyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] (first rose)

Laurel → very much associated with victory because of crowns of laurels
Iris → the name of the Greek goddess of the rainbow, and is from the Ancient Greek word for “messenger” (eiris)
Jasmine → often cited as “gift from God”
Juniper → “young”. also mentioned in the OT
Lillian / Liliana / Lillie → Lillian is actually derived from the name Elizabeth, rather than the flower so takes on Elizabeth’s meaning especially if you spell the nickname “Lillie”. Lilia is derived from the flower.
Amaryllis → “to sparkle”
Florence → “flourishing”/“prospering”. You could maybe stretch it and say that Flora is related, even though they technically aren’t and have different Latin root words
Zinnia → “Zinn’s flower”, and Zinn is a occupational surname for a blacksmith
Bonus:
Acacia → the ark of the covenant was made out of acacia wood
One of my favorite names is [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]! I love the meaning “dawn”, I adore that it is a mythological name and that can be associated with the magical and colorful aurora borealis! Nameberry’s description of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is sweet if you want to check
[name_f]My[/name_f] second thought was [name_f]Clover[/name_f]! The beautiful symbol of luck. There’s also [name_f]Olive[/name_f] / [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dove[/name_f] associated with peace. The beautiful [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is also associated with the flower, with a Greek goddess, with rainbows and is the colored part of the eye that surrounds the pupil.
