I really love the nickname [name]Elle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name], so working backwards to find a name to suit this nn, i don’t like ‘unrelated’ nicknames. looking for suggestions that give me the nickname [name]Elle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name]…
I already have a daughter who has nickname [name]Bella[/name] - Is no [name]Elle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] too similar to [name]Bella[/name]?
Assuming no…
I love [name]Aurelia[/name], do you think this nn works for this name?
Any other suggestions to give my desired nickname?
Thanks in advance.
If i were you, I would mostly call her [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Elle[/name] sounds too similar to [name]Bella[/name]. [name]Bella[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] aren’t that similar to me. [name]Aurelia[/name] is one of my favorites as well, and would totally work for [name]Ellie[/name]
As long as their full names are distinctly different, I don’t see a problem with [name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Bella[/name] as sisters.
[name]Aurelia[/name] could work as a full name depending on how you pronounce it. According to BTN, the Polish pronunciation is ow-REL-yuh, with rel rhyming with dell or bell. With this, [name]Ellie[/name]/[name]Elle[/name] is possible.
I think they are too similar, but that choice is up to you. Would you get toungue tied calling your daughters’ names? I have an [name]Adele[/name] who goes by Dele, but [name]Elle[/name] could also be derived from [name]Adele[/name].
To be perfectly honest, I think you can get [name]Elle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] from any name that starts with an ‘L’ allowing you to have a name that doesn’t sound remotely similar to your ‘[name]Bella[/name]’ name.
