[name]Hi[/name] NB!
After TTC for over three years, my husband [name]Austin[/name] and I are expecting! I’m almost eight months and I’ve been messing around with names but haven’t decided on anything yet. We had names chosen for a boy and a girl a few months ago, but either we’ve fallen out of love with them or they’ve been used by people close to us. This is our first child, so we have a lot of options and ideas and not many limiting factors. We chose not to know what the gender of the baby is, so it’ll be a surprise.
I’m really interested in names that mean something - especially since this baby is so very important to us already and we went through so much in the process of this. Anything along the lines of miracle, happy, lucky, etc. I just think it’s a very cool idea, but it’s not a must. I love ‘G’ names and names ending in ‘er’ for boys (I have no clue why).
Our last name is [name]Brady[/name]. I’m not opposed to alliteration, but it definitely depends on the name. Name length can be anything, I’m not too picky about that. Names with nicknames are okay, but once again, it depends on the name/nickname. The popularity of the name isn’t a major issue.
This is the condensed version of my list, as it was pretty lengthy before.
Girls Names:
[name]Peyton[/name] - My absolute favorite so far. I like the male version as well, but definitely prefer it for a girl. It goes very nicely with our last name and DH loves it too.
[name]Claire[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] - [name]Love[/name] the NN [name]Josie[/name].
[name]Savannah[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name]
[name]Piper[/name]
[name]Whitney[/name]
[name]Mckenzie[/name]
[name]Mckenna[/name]
[name]Caitlyn[/name]
Boys Names:
[name]Greyson[/name] - I could see us using this one. NN [name]Grey[/name] is cute, although I wouldn’t use it by itself.
[name]Henry[/name] - I don’t absolutely love the ‘y’ endings ([name]Henry[/name] [name]Brady[/name]), but I think it sounds nice and I love the name [name]Henry[/name].
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Nathan[/name]
[name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name]/[name]Ian[/name] - [name]Ian[/name] is a family name. I like [name]Finnian[/name] because it includes the name but adds a more modern twist. [name]Love[/name] the NN [name]Finn[/name].
[name]Luke[/name]
[name]Garrett[/name]
[name]Griffin[/name]
[name]Grant[/name]
[name]Parker[/name]
[name]Chase[/name]
[name]Tucker[/name] - [name]Love[/name] the NN [name]Tuck[/name].
[name]Logan[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name]
Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks so much everyone.
