Our first little peanut is due in [name]January[/name] and we are having the hardest time finding her name. Our last name is [name]Cannon[/name] and we are finding that (for us anyways) its a really hard name to work with. We want something a little less popular, but the only name weāve found that didnāt sound bad with our last name is [name]Riley[/name]. Definitely not the name we want.
Does anyone have any ideas? Weāve been at this for awhile now and its getting a little frustrating.
rollo: Thanks for the ideas. I think something that doesnāt end in n,en,ne,yn, or on would be best.
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Delia[/name]
[name]Cecilia[/name]
[name]Lilah[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name] nn [name]Romy[/name]
I love these names.
charliehotsox: I definitely like the āeeā sound, like [name]Riley[/name]. I just donāt like [name]Riley[/name]'s popularity right now.
I do love [name]Zoe[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Emily[/name], [name]Amelie[/name], and [name]Bryony[/name].
Of the ones that donāt end in āeeā, I like [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Elisabeth[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], and [name]Grace[/name].
Of the names suggested by the ppās, I love [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Cannon[/name]. [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Cannon[/name] also sound really great.
Ljcannon: Lol, aw I would have loved [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Cannon[/name] (lot of name, I know).
Anyways I like the ppās suggestion of [name]Violet[/name], helena or [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Cannon[/name]. [name]Do[/name] any of those appeal to you?
I like [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Cannon[/name]. ?
I love [name]Violet[/name] but I think that with our ln it would seem a little more like an adjective than a name.
[name]Helena[/name] [name]Cannon[/name] might sound like āhell in a cannonā. lol not that it makes sense, but its what I hear.
But I love [name]Amelia[/name]. I also love [name]Emilia[/name], then she could have the nn [name]Emmy[/name].
I really like the way [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Cannon[/name] sounds, as well as pairing it with [name]Margaret[/name] as mn. What about [name]Emaline[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Cannon[/name]? Or [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Emaline[/name] [name]Cannon[/name] for that matter. And if you like [name]Margaret[/name], maybe you might find a name that sounds better with an alternative like [name]Margot[/name] (pronouced with hard O and no T), [name]Marjorie[/name], or [name]Marguerite[/name].
You have a very amazing line up of names that sound very nice with your last name and are fantastic on their own as well! Let us know where youāre leaning for nowā¦
