Worst Multiple/Sibsets

A friend has [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Addison[/name] (girls) and [name]Braxton[/name] and [name]Walker[/name] (boys). The girls’ names struck me as off because of the one feminine and the other unisex like someone else mentioned, but I don’t think it’s nearly as grievous an offense as many on this post.

I know a sibset of 4 girls, [name]Kayleigh[/name], [name]Kylie[/name], [name]Karlie[/name], and [name]Kiera[/name]. Also twins that come to mind are [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Imogen[/name] and [name]Isla[/name].

Should we even get into the Duggars? You’d think [name]Jinger[/name] wouldn’t get used until they were completely out of J names, but they came up with quite a few after that. Oh, and I just looked it up and they reused the first son’s middle name as a later son’s first name and gave a set of twins the same middle.

[name]Millie[/name], [name]Mollie[/name] and [name]Maisie[/name] were sisters mentioned in my local paper a while back. I think the first two were twins but I might be wrong on that.

Four brothers named [name]Brent[/name], [name]Brandon[/name], [name]Brian[/name] and [name]Brady[/name], there father’s name was [name]Barry[/name], and ALL of them had middle names beginning with “J”
My ex’s nieces were [name]Kiera[/name], [name]Kandra[/name], and Denea.
Growing up my mom was friends with a family who had 14 kids, and they all had names beginning with “L”.

I know some guy who had [name]Christopher[/name] and [name]Christian[/name] with wife number one - and then had another [name]Christopher[/name] with wife number two…

Know another couple who had two girls named [name]Rose[/name] [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Marie[/name] [name]Rose[/name].

Know a couple who has a son named [name]Gunnar[/name] and a daughter named [name]Hope[/name]…seems like opposite ends of the spectrum to me.

It must be so weird to have the exact same name as a sibling. Hopefully the two Christophers at least got their own middle names.

Siblings [name]Ethan[/name], [name]Evan[/name], [name]Ellen[/name] & [name]Eileen[/name]. Their middle names all start with the same letter too.

This is NOT a joke or made up - Last year my eldest went to a playgroup with a little girl named Tulisa - her siblings were (I’m seriously NOT making this up) Tinchy (brother), [name]Shakira[/name] and [name]Rihanna[/name]!

Also now a sibset of [name]Tillie[/name], [name]Millie[/name] and [name]Willie[/name]. They think it’s cute and no, it’s not nn!
Also know a [name]ShaQuira[/name], LaQrisha and Levontae, a set of [name]Zephyr[/name], Atlandria and [name]Titus[/name]-Reks, have also come across a Babydoll Dikiny and [name]Princess[/name] [name]Joop[/name] (her mum named them after what she wanted them to be (?!) and her favourite perfume DKNY and [name]Joop[/name] - creative if nothing else). And I’ve met a mum who barked out “Ioio and [name]Dottie[/name]-Boo” (Ioio as in yoyo)

I used to live in a very colourful area (and I mean that as in “colourful personalities”). When we had our youngest everyone was like “Omg ur sons name is so boring and common” - well, what wouldn’t be next to Babydoll Dikiny and Tinchy!?

Not that I personally know them or have even met them (I wish!) but the famous [name]McEnroe[/name] brothers, the tennis players, are [name]John[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] [name]John[/name].

[name]George[/name] Foreman’s 5 sons, [name]George[/name] [name]Jr[/name]., [name]George[/name] III, [name]George[/name] IV, [name]George[/name] V and [name]George[/name] [name]VI[/name].

[name]Jade[/name] and [name]Jordan[/name] (Stylistacally, very different. Also brings together images of different generations. They’re both girls, but I assumed [name]Jordan[/name] was a boy and [name]Jade[/name] was a girl when I first heard their names).
[name]Makenna[/name] and [name]Megan[/name] (Same as [name]Jade[/name] and [name]Jordan[/name], but I knew they were both girls).
Necole, [name]Erika[/name] and Emielie (This one speaks for it’s self).

:o

‘Babydoll’ has left me speechless. That should be…illegal. Or something.

[name]Kenneth[/name] (goes by [name]Kenny[/name]) and [name]Penney[/name]
[name]Joshua[/name] and [name]Jocelyn[/name]
[name]Michael[/name] and [name]Michaela[/name]

My ex is named [name]Andrew[/name], and his sister is named [name]Amanda[/name]. It’s a lovely sibset until you learn that their parents call them [name]Andy[/name] and [name]Mandy[/name].

I know a set of sisters named [name]Jennifer[/name] and [name]Jenny[/name].

I grew up living with one of my mother’s friends for a while. There were 3 kids each, so 6 total. My mother’s friend had two sons named [name]William[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] ([name]Jr[/name].) and [name]Patrick[/name] [name]William[/name]. Her daughter was named [name]Ashley[/name] [name]Marie[/name], and I was [name]Ashley[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Yep. It was confusing.

I know three sisters named [name]Brianna[/name], Shyanna, and [name]Dianna[/name]. Their mother’s name is [name]Anna[/name].

I recently came across someone on facebook whose daughters’ middle names were [name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Corabelle[/name], [name]Mirabelle[/name], and Lirabelle. I actually found that to be tasteful as they all had different first names and it tied them together without being tooooo cutesy.

My best friend’s name is [name]Shauna[/name] [name]Kristen[/name] (same middle name as her mom) and her younger brother’s name is [name]Shawn[/name] [name]Edward[/name] (same middle name as his dad). Everyone always assumes they’re twins, but they’re four years apart.

I also went to school with twin sisters named [name]Antoinette[/name] and [name]Anjanette[/name].

[name]Gregory[/name]
[name]Cathie[/name]
[name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Philip[/name]

It isn’t that the names are bad but [name]Cathie[/name] stands out like a sore thumb to me. My mom is [name]Rebecca[/name], she goes by [name]Becky[/name], and even she was like “I don’t know why they didn’t name her [name]Catherine[/name].”

A good friend of mines name is [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Alice[/name] and goes by [name]Katie[/name]. When she was about 14, her dad remarried to a woman who had two children name Jospeh (not sure of middle name) and [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (who went by [name]Kate[/name]) sooo confusing
[name]Bree[/name]
