Worst sister-set ever

I wish I was making this up, but I’ve come across a family where there are five daughters named:

Kri5tyn (5=s)
K@ryn (@=a)
K3rryn (3=e)
K@rlyn (@=a)

AND…

Tr@cey (@=a)

!!!

I’m getting a headache just reading that. PLEASE tell me you’re kidding!
Also [name_f]Karyn[/name_f]/K@ryn and Kerryn/K3rryn would be pronounced the same to me.

I’m really not making this up. Stunned.

I could sort of say it’s not the worst sibset ever… and then I read K@ryn and K3rryn. [name_m]Aren[/name_m]'t they said the same?! Or almost the same? I guess one could be like CAR-en/kuh-RINNE (like [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]?), but why not just spell it [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], then? Saves a lot of trouble!

Poor [name_u]Tracey[/name_u] must have felt really left out, but I have to say, she’s probably the lucky one!

Oh, goodness :frowning:

Yes, I’d have to agree with [name_u]Ash[/name_u]… [name_u]Tracey[/name_u] is probably the lucky one! Haha.

I know of a similar sister set that has me baffled:
L1la
L0la
L1ly
L@na
(L1la and L0la are twins BTW
But their 3 brothers get their own initials and completely different names. Bit unfair it seems…

Yesterday I met twin girls [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and [name_f]Maya[/name_f] at the playground. Whyyyyy?

:(… is that even legal?!? To be blunt, this is so tacky and immature. It feels like I’m looking at trailer trash names for the internet era.

As a triplet, I am straight up appalled by [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and [name_f]Maya[/name_f]. [name_m]Way[/name_m] too close! We’re [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] and don’t look alike and people STILL regularly get us confused.

I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] as names, too but all together and with numbers and symbols instead of letters?? WHY? I’m with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (adore that name by the way!), tacky, immature, trashy.

Wow- that’s pretty bad! I know twins named [name_f]Laura[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] which always dismayed me; you have the rare and wonderful task of getting to name two girls at once and you give them practically the same name!

Emily_333, it’s bad, but not quite AS bad as you fear! A lot of us use those symbols when talking about real people, especially sibling sets or surnames or very distinctive names, so if the parents or kids Google the names they won’t know they’re being talked about.

I assume [name_f]Karyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Keryn[/name_f] (or whatever?) are like KAH-Ryn and KEH-Ryn maybe? But it just looks like two misspelled Karens.

Oh, God. This makes me feel faintly ill.

These are bad!! I don’t know them, but my mom knows little sisters named:

[name_f]Kinley[/name_f]
[name_f]Kinsey[/name_f]
[name_f]Kylee[/name_f]

My sister says a teacher at her school has a [name_f]Joy[/name_f], Joyelle, and [name_f]Trinity[/name_f].

I’v also heard:
[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u], [name_f]Kenley[/name_f], and [name_u]Kendall[/name_u] (triplets)
[name_m]Chayse[/name_m] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_u]Ashtyn[/name_u], [name_f]Ashleigh[/name_f], [name_f]Ashlynne[/name_f], and Evilynn

I went to school with twin sisters name Kedr@ and Pejr@ ([name_m]Long[/name_m] “e” sound. Pejr@ went by PJ mostly).

Went to school with an [name_f]Alissa[/name_f] and [name_u]Allison[/name_u]

Wow.

I use go to school with a Ka.ne.esha, [name_m]Tan[/name_m].ee.sha and Ma.diy.son (ignore the periods - just there to prevent them from searching their names).

I know twins named [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I suppose its not as bad as some.
