Would Emory and Henry work for twins?

My son and daughter-in-law are having fraternal twins (sexes unknown at this time). If they are boy -girl twins would this combo work? [name]How[/name] about boy-boy twins? These names have special meaning as the two first people who ever attended college on my side of the family attended and graduated from [name]Emory[/name] & [name]Henry[/name] College in [name]Virginia[/name]. Is the [name]Emory[/name] spelling okay for a girl? Is it still masculine enough to work with [name]Henry[/name] for a brother if it’s two boys. Any mn ideas that work well together? Any help appreciated.

[name]Emory[/name] is not masculine enough to work with henry. [name]Emery[/name] works well for a girl.

[name]Emory[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] sound too similar for twins, or siblings, in my opinion. And, [name]Emory[/name], spelled any way, for a girl, does not fit with [name]Henry[/name]. What about either using both as middle names, or using [name]Emory[/name] as the middle name for the girl?

[name]Henry[/name] and

[name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Emory[/name]
[name]Anneliese[/name] [name]Emory[/name]
[name]Carolina[/name] [name]Emory[/name]
[name]Lorelei[/name] [name]Emory[/name]
[name]Mathilda[/name] [name]Emory[/name]

I personally love [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Mathilda[/name]! So cute! Something like [name]Henry[/name] [name]Fitzwilliam[/name] and [name]Mathilda[/name] [name]Emory[/name] would be darling for twins.

Thanks for your honest opinions.

I think that [name]Emory[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] are both really cute on their own, but i think they’re a bit too matchy for twins…
Also… i’d use the spelling [name]Emery[/name] for a girl.

here are some combos i like using each of your names::
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Aiden[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] & [name]Nathaniel[/name]

[name]Henry[/name] & [name]Isla[/name]
[name]Henry[/name] & [name]Katherine[/name] (nn [name]Katie[/name])
[name]Henry[/name] & [name]Rachel[/name]
[name]Henry[/name] & [name]Miranda[/name]

I’d also use [name]Emery[/name] instead of [name]Emory[/name] for a girl… I also think that [name]Mathilda[/name] would fit perfect with [name]Henry[/name]… And what about [name]Willow[/name] and [name]Henry[/name]!??

i definitely think of the college so its hard for me to like this sib set.

Actually both [name]Emory[/name] and Herny are classic names, only that [name]Emory[/name] went out of fashion while Herny didn’t. I prefer the spelling [name]Emery[/name] for a girl and [name]Emory[/name] for a boy.

I think you should go with [name]Emory[/name] for a girl, but for a middle name. [name]Emery[/name] reminds me of an [name]Emery[/name] board and loses some of the connection. If you do use it as a middle name for a girl, I think she should have a “girly” first name. [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Emory[/name] are too matchy, but I think it’s fine if one is a middle name and the other is first.

[name]Hope[/name] that helps
