This would probably do much better in the [name]Baby[/name] Names forum, not the Name Game forum.

I don’t think [name]Dani[/name] would be a problem. [name]How[/name] many people would use the nickname, and do they use it on yourself as well?
[name]Dee[/name] could be also used??
I think it’s fine! I know a few people who gave their children their own name, so why can’t you give your child a similar name?

My name is [name]Diana[/name] and I personally wouldn’t do it, but then again I don’t like the name [name]Dani[/name].
I definitely wouldn’t use the nickname [name]Dee[/name] because my name is shortened to that as well as [name]Di[/name] from time to time. It would depend on what your own nicknames are, if you have any that is…
I think it would work better in the middle name spot, but that’s just me.
