Would it be silly to use my husband's nickname as a name for our son?

I think it’s a cute idea, although you’ll have both men turning their heads at one point or another when you call out their name. It might end up being a little confusing, and I’m sure the nickname is used as a term of endearment so it might be a little weird calling your son by a nickname already given to your husband, but on the other hand I also really like the idea of giving your son your husbands name. Maybe try [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_m]Jr[/name_m]? [name_m]Junior[/name_m]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] my thoughts.

I think it’s great and a sweet tribute to your hubby and your relationship

I think it depends partially on how your husband feels about it, and if you think you could call both your son and your husband the same name. It’s a lovely combination, and if you are confident that it will work for you I’d do it.

I think [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] is so handsome, and it’s a lovely idea!!
