If I used the name [name]Temple[/name] (girl) and I live in [name]Texas[/name] (There is a town called [name]Temple[/name] in [name]Texas[/name])?
I’ve never been and I was wondering if you think it would be weird to use it.
Thanks!

I don’t think it would be weird at all! There are plenty of towns in every state with names used for people The only time I could see it being a little weird is if you lived in the town, and even still I don’t think it’d be too strange.
nope, I don’t think it would be weird at all.
I live in [name]Texas[/name], and [name]Temple[/name] reminds me of the town, as well. But I think it’s fine. I mean, we know people named [name]Austin[/name] and [name]Tyler[/name], right?
Nope. Not weird. Besides, place names are a big trend right now, if anyone thought you were inspired by the town it wouldn’t be an odd thing.
I agree, not weird. Although the name [name]Temple[/name] reminds me of the rat [name]Templeton[/name] in [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name]…
I don’t think it would be weird b/c it’s the name of a town in [name]Texas[/name] and you live in [name]Texas[/name]. Plus, who’s to say she would end up living in [name]Texas[/name] her whole life?
However, I do think it is a weird name, and one laden with too many meanings for proper name. Specifically thinking of the biblical expression “your body is a temple” or something along those lines. So in that sense, I would argue against using it.
I dont think it would be weird. [name]Ive[/name] met children in [name]Colorado[/name] named [name]Aspen[/name].
