I really wanted to name my daughter [name]Verity[/name], nn possibly be shortened to Vee sometimes!! The issue is, if I have a son in the future it will be named [name]James[/name] after my father nn [name]Jay[/name]
I worry that Vee and [name]Jay[/name] would be an issue as uhh… well it was become a slang name for something else…

It just sounds… kind of uncomfortable.
I think [name]Verity[/name] and [name]James[/name] would be nice if they aren’t shortened.
[name]Just[/name] don’t ever shorten [name]Verity[/name] to Vee! Either go with the whole name, or else, [name]Vera[/name]. [name]Verity[/name] and [name]Jay[/name] sound just fine, Vee and [name]Jay[/name]…not so much!
