Would this be a problem?

We’re expecting a son in [name_f]May[/name_f], and we’ve practically decided on a first name… [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. The thing that worries me is our last name. DH’s last name is [name_m]Cornell[/name_m]. Now [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Cornell[/name_m] doesn’t rhyme ([name_m]GAbriel[/name_m] [name_m]CorNELL[/name_m]), but is this a problem?

[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is such a handsome name! I don’t see anything wrong with the fn and surname together, as long as your area typically pronounces [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] on the first syllable. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if you are somewhere that stresses it more towards the end, a little rhyming won’t hurt as long as you love the name.

I agree … Sounds handsome and not too sing song, its a smooth flow doesn’t feel awkward to say …

Good choice.

No problem at all!

I don’t see an issue.

P.S. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is wonderful.

I don’t see a problem either. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is a really lovely name.

Not at all! Most people doesn’t have perfect flow in their names. I think [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is a great choice.
