Would this work as a nickname for Rosalie?

So here’s the deal. I really love the name [name]Rosalie[/name] but my husband isn’t so much of a fan (he dislikes [name]Rose[/name] names in general). He does though, like [name]Roz[/name]/[name]Rozlyn[/name]. So my question is, could [name]Roz[/name] work as a nickname for [name]Rosalie[/name]? I know that there is a variation of [name]Rosalie[/name] spelled [name]Rozalie[/name], but that just doesn’t look as pretty to me.

So WDYT? Does it work or is it too much of a stretch?

[name]Said[/name] like RAHZ? Or still the long “O” sound? I definitely think [name]Roz[/name] could work as a nn for [name]Rosalie[/name], why not?
