Today while getting ready to watch the world cup, my DH who is a HUGE [name]Man[/name]. U/[name]England[/name] fan made the comment that he loves the name [name]Rooney[/name] (the last name of one of the players) and wants to name our future son that. This is the first name that we’ve really agreed on, I think it’s cute and can be shortened to [name]Roone[/name] to be more serious. [name]Even[/name] though we won’t have kids for another year or two, I’m already thinking of sib set options.

[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Rooney[/name] and what other names would go well with it?

I personally don’t like [name]Rooney[/name] as a fn maybe a mn or nn for something like [name]Ronald[/name]

I think it sounds like a joke name-- maybe the name of a clown. I wouldn’t name my kid ‘[name]Rooney[/name]’.

I’m a huge fan of [name]Rooney[/name]'s and love the idea of using [name]Rooney[/name] as middle name. I’m not sure if it is a good first name though…
