Would you change their names?

okay so I adopted two beautiful cats one male one female and the shelter said that they were strays so the shelter gave them names…Simba and [name_f]Nala[/name_f] but here’s the problem its been over a month now and they still don’t come to their names. Should I keep their names or…?

Change them. If they were dogs I’d say keep them, but cats often dont respond to their name or it takes a while for them to learn it. I changed my adopted cats name.

Since they don’t respond to their names yet I would change them if you want to. If you want to change them I would do it sooner better than later so they have time to learn their new names/they won’t have to learn a new name if they start responding to theirs.

I would definitely change it now if you don’t like their names. now’s the best time as they still don’t respond.

I’d totally change them. A month isn’t very long at all!

Would definitely change them if you don’t like them. A month is no time at all, it can take years for cats to respond to names (if ever!)
