Ok. First of all, don’t worry so much about what the name “means”. The meanings listed online and in name books are often inaccurate. Anyhow, I don’t think it’s a major problem to give the kid an extra middle name. However, if you choose to use only one middle name, I’d pick [name_m]Axel[/name_m] of those four options.

I think using 2 middles is fine! [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] is great. If I had to pick just one, I’d go with [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m].

I personally wouldn’t, but in general I like things to be equal, and I think it’s down to personal preference. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] is my favourite overall. I do like a good combined meaning though!

Meanings are important! www.behindthename.com is generally considered the “gold standard” for accuracy of name meanings and etymology online. The bad news is that [name_m]Milo[/name_m] has questionable lineage. But I also agree that at some point, you do have to stop driving yourself nuts. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t lose track of the overall sound of the name in trying to get a cool meaning.

I’m looking at your list of sibling names and noticing that you have a couple of pretty long middles - 4 and 3 syllables for a couple of the kids. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_u]Pax[/name_u] are both pretty short names. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though they are technically 2 names, [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] comes out fairly comparably to [name_m]Canaan[/name_m] [name_m]Maverick[/name_m], shorter than [name_f]Aliza[/name_f] [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f], longer than [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]. If you wouldn’t be second-guessing if the name were Milopax instead of [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u], then I think that’s you’re answer.

I like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Axel[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] best from your list (and don’t particularly dislike any). I also like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] very much. If your surname begins with an S, you might have a tricky transition between the X and the S.

Sure! I know a family that only the 3rd child (of 4) has 2 mn.

I like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] best and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] second best. I think you should just use ONE middle name.

I don’t think it’d be bad to give 2 middles to the youngest of 4. I actually know a family with 4 kids: oldest has one first name and one middle name, second has one first name and two middles, third has one first and no middle, and fourth has two firsts and one middle. So I don’t think adding an extra middle would be a big deal.

Having said that, I actually prefer both the meaning and the sound of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Axel[/name_m] to [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] so I voted for [name_m]Axel[/name_m].

Personally, no. I’m a pattern person, and using two middles when everyone else has one would make me cringe constantly. But that’s just me, there’s nothing inherently “wrong” with it.
My hubs family has this odd tradition of the oldest son getting two middles and the other children only getting one. I think it’s weird, and it really grates my ocd.

I get that the meaning is amazing, but I don’t find [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] or [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] to flow very well.

Of your four choices, I feel [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] to be the most balanced and pleasing.

I personally wouldn’t use two middle names after giving the other three just one, but, there is no problem with doing so. I’m much like @myosotis and like when everything is equal.

I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] sounds lovely!

I like the flow of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] the best. Personally I wouldn’t use two mn after only using one with the first 3 as the inconsistency would make me a little crazy. I see no problem in doing so though if that doesn’t bother you.

I don’t think it matters, especially if this is your last child.
