Would you have chosen the same first name for yourself as your birth name?

maybe not

I don’t dislike my name but it wouldn’t be my first Choice either so no.

Yes, I would. It suits me, and I really love it.

If it’s my dead name? No, unless if it’s a variation of it. Of my chosen name? Probably, but again as a variation, like [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f].

no

yes, i think so! i love names like charlotte for girls but i don’t think they suit me.

probably not. my name is quite frilly and long, and personally, even though i tend to use a nickname i don’t think even the nickname fits me very well

Yes, because despite the fact that I don’t like it, I wouldn’t be the same person if I was named anything else.

Probably not. I don’t dislike it but it’s become one of the names that are not being used now and nearly obsolete. I also have a name without the more typical spelling so it’s a matter of always having to spell it out.

It feels like ‘mine’ but I don’t think literally anyone has the same vibes for it in their head as I do, so probably not!

No. [name_f]My[/name_f] real name feels kind of bland and it was pretty popular when I was born, so I’d choose something unique and more my style.

Yes

Likely not! I’d probably pick [name_u]Mina[/name_u], or maybe [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] if I knew I wouldn’t be naming my child it. With this being said, while I like the name [name_u]Mina[/name_u] and think it suits me, I would never change my name.

Absolutely not!

I think what we would choose for ourselves would be interesting especially if our preferences change over time. I would have wanted something different as a kid I would now.

I have a surname name popular in the 90s. I would have picked differently but I also think it works for me. I also kind of enjoy when a name has a contrasting vibe from its wearer, so I don’t mind being a slightly ethereal and artsy type of person with a very extroverted, practical, approachable sounding name.
