I was doing a long drive for the holidays this weekend and was planning what I would listen to for the trip. It made me realIze there’s almost no baby names related podcasts! I found one and tried it out but to be honest I wasn’t much of a fan. I follow Nameberry on social media and am subscribed to some baby names channel on YouTube but I’d love some more podcasts for baby names for when I can’t really watch a video or be on my phone.
So what you all think? [name_f]Do[/name_f] any of you know of any baby names related podcasts? If not, would you listen to them if they were available? I’d love to know your thoughts. TIA

I’d love to find some more podcasts to enjoy. I went through a phase of listening to a bunch about a particular social issue and I found it to be so informative, and I would greatly enjoy a podcast about baby names, especially if it contained information about etymology, heritage, meaning, popularity, etc. So basically, anything.
I know a few Berries have Youtube channels talking about names, but I wouldn’t be able to tag them, because unfortunately, I can’t quite remember who. Hopefully, someone will make a podcast one day!
I’ll give you an honest answer since I suppose this is market research in a way: I give up on podcasts really quickly, so I don’t have any I listen to at the moment and I am also not actively looking. I’d definitely be willing to give it a try since I’ve been wanting to get in on the podcast craze. A bit of FOMO there.
I definitely get that. I used to listen podcasts all the time at work or driving but then the pandemic hit and I kinda got of rhythm with listening because I didn’t go anywhere. I understand the FOMO though lol If you ever want any ideas or suggestions though, not just baby names related but in general, I’m sure you could find some great ones through people here!

I would definitely be up for it! If I had the time, I would also create one, but unfortunately I don’t anymore. I do have a YouTube channel about baby names, though (which started out as a SoundCloud account but that gave me weird stats and things like that)!

There’s this one! I haven’t listened to it so I have no idea if it’s any good, but I would love love love some more options. We should definitely have a thread where people recommend baby name related media!
I try to like podcasts, but I get so distracted. The podcast will be like, “Yes, if we compost this…”
Me:* Compost? I know a friend who composts! And her brother plays football! Oh, there was that football game last week, and the Cowboys totally lost! I’ll have to tell my friend about that game, because she really likes the Cowboys. I’ll tell her during lunch. Ooh! I need to get more tuna at the store… *
But, if there was a baby name podcast, I’d listen to it. [name_u]Or[/name_u] at least try. It’s a struggle, y’all.
