rhyming names or names that mean the same thing? Definitely names that mean the same thing. Then they still have a connection, but it’s not as annoyingly obvious.
after your mother or your father? I’d use my dad’s first name and my mom’s middle name as middle names… not sure if I’d use any of their names as firsts though.

I wouldn’t want to start a pattern of all say, S names, then struggle to find another S name just to fit the pattern. Plus it’s less obvious there’s a theme if you do alpha order!

I don’t think you have noticed, but their is a choice in each one. EX: You have a choice to either name your kids after your least fave singers or name them after your least fave actors/actresses. EX: (like this!)
