It’s a middle name, it’s got meaning, if anyone questions you about it you have a story to tell them why you picked it. ____ [name]William[/name] [name]North[/name] ___n is very handsome as a combination, and I think it has much better flow than ___ [name]William[/name] [name]Norman[/name] ____n.
I would still use it as a mn if it had meaning to me!
I don’t really see how someone could “ruin” a name by using it for their little baby. If little [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] grows up to be a evil dictator or psychopath sadist, sure, but she’s a little baby! I’m probably in the minority here, but I like [name]Kanye[/name] [name]West[/name] and I don’t see any reason why them using this name should stop others from doing the same. If people think they inspired you, or that you’re a massive Kardashian fan, so what? You know you’re not (I’m assuming).
I think that its fine to use, especially as a middle name. I also think that [name]North[/name] is going to become a pretty popular name, so in a couple of years, no one will really associate it with just [name]Kim[/name] and [name]Kanye[/name] anymore 
I would definitely use it. It’s a great name and the thought of the celebrity baby will soon fade fast.

[name]Little[/name] [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name]'s name has been thoroughly ridiculed at this point, and I highly doubt that [name]North[/name] will skyrocket like [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Harper[/name] did.
If it was me, I might hesitate to use it as a first name, but I would have no problem at all using it in the middle. For that matter, I would also use [name]Norman[/name] in the middle to honor a family member, no matter how well/poorly it flows with the last name. Since the name [name]North[/name] is so special to you, I would not change your plans to use it!

Definitely! It’s just a middle name. If it were a first, this would be a different discussion and I would urge you against it. Unfortunately, I named my son [name]Mason[/name] (family homage as well) a couple years before that other Kardashian sparked a [name]Mason[/name] virus. Now my [name]Mason[/name] says he’s going to create an army of Masons, speaking of evil dictators.
I didn’t even have to read past the title. Yes. Use the name you love. Celebrities do not own/“ruin” names. Middle name, first name - use [name]North[/name] wherever you want. It’s a great name and obviously a pair of celebrities agree (even though the situation they used it in was not so great).
I’m not a big fan of [name]Kanye[/name] or the Kardashians, just for the record.
You’ll probably get a lot of “As in [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name]?” But as long as you don’t mind explaining a few (Many) times, I would go for it. Plus, after the birth announcements go out, the only time people will use/hear his middle name will be when he’s in trouble, and at graduation. And most people probably won’t choose those moments to question his name.

It has special meaning for you so to hell with the [name]Kanye[/name] and Kardashian association (I know how you’re feeling because I dislike these overrated and overexposed people immensely). [name]North[/name] is still pretty awesome to use as a mn.
I just wanted to chime in as we have a 5 year old son named, [name]North[/name]. I understand your hesitation…I was devastated to learn of [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] but I am over it now…EVERYONE we meet likes the name and I think it is a lovely, masculine and strong name.

Definitely use it! It has a lovely meaning for you, it´s a great name, and it is only a middle so will probably only be known by people who know you weren´t inspired by Kimye (who aren´t really as big a deal here in the UK, anyway).

By the time you do have a baby, everyone will likely have forgotten about [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name], unless they are die-hard Kardashian fans. Plus, you’ve got a great reason and story behind choosing that name, so go for it!
