I knew a [name]Doyle[/name] 30-something. I thought it was strange, the name didn’t give off a positive vibe to me.

Not with the middle name [name]Rhys[/name]. [name]Doyle[/name] [name]Rhys[/name] sounds a lot like “doilies” to my ear.

Ditto on the doilies, and I don’t care for two monosyllabic names next to each other. [name]How[/name] about:

[name]Dougal[/name]
Donnagh
[name]Donato[/name]
[name]Dorian[/name]
[name]Douglas[/name]
[name]Dolan[/name]
[name]Donnan[/name]
[name]Donnell[/name]

instead?

Not sure how [name]Doyle[/name] [name]Rhys[/name] makes you think of doilies, lol.

It’s not my cup of tea, but there is nothing wrong with it.

There was a villian character on the tv show Justified so that is what I think of.

I wouldn’t personally, but there’s nothing specifically wrong with the name itself. I love [name]Rhys[/name] (spelled that way)!

Me too on the [name]Rhys[/name]. But i think it would cause issues of the how do you say/spell that type.

I think [name]Doyle[/name] has a dull, thudding sound, and I don’t think two single-syllable names sound good together. Sorry. :frowning:

I just think of “O’[name]Doyle[/name] RULES!” from the movie “[name]Billy[/name] [name]Madison[/name]”.

In high school, I knew a very likable and great guy named [name]Doyle[/name] who pulled off the name well. However, while it’s definitely not the worst name out there, it’s not my style and I wouldn’t vote for it myself. With the mn [name]Rhys[/name], I’d use a longer first name.

I like the name [name]Doyle[/name]. It is very original. It makes me think of [name]Royal[/name] and [name]Loyal[/name]. Very nice!

My sister briefly considered this name, and I def don’t hate it. But maybe since I’m from TX, I’m just used to it because of [name]Doyle[/name] Bramhall.
