Name soon to be born little brother [name]Theodore[/name] nn [name]Teddy[/name] if older brother’s name is [name]Graham[/name]? [name]Teddy[/name] and [name]Graham[/name] too close to the ever popular toddler snack food [name]Teddy[/name] Grahams??
I initially loved [name]Teddy[/name] then realized the association and immediately scratched it from my list, but now that D [name]Day[/name] is soon approaching and i don’t have a very long list of contenders. ([name]Brooks[/name] or [name]Arthur[/name]…probably [name]Brooks[/name]) I am coming back to it. Thoughts?
I personally wouldn’t do it. I Congratulations, by the way. I think [name]Brooks[/name] and [name]Graham[/name] make cute brothers, too! Maybe you could use the nickname [name]Theo[/name] instead of [name]Teddy[/name]?
I think it’s too close. [name]Love[/name] both names, though. I like [name]Brooks[/name] better than [name]Arthur[/name] with [name]Graham[/name], too.
Ditto above comments. I think [name]Arthur[/name] is a better match to [name]Theodore[/name], but [name]James[/name], [name]Henry[/name], or [name]Oliver[/name] are classics I prefer to [name]Arthur[/name].
I have to admit that [name]Theodore[/name] nn [name]Teddy[/name] is pretty wonderful. But calling your kids in from the front yard, “[name]Teddy[/name]! [name]Graham[/name]!” seems unfortunate. [name]Theo[/name] could definitely work, and is charming in its own way. Maybe you could sneak [name]Teddy[/name] in there once in a while, when you’re tucking him into bed, or when [name]Graham[/name]'s not around!
