Wren for a boy

I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] on a boy!

I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] for a boy! I say Go for it!

To be honest I always considered this a more masculine name anyway, so to me it’s perfectly fine!

I’m from the US and previously always thought of [name_u]Ren[/name_u] as the masculine version, and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as the feminine. In my mind they were really two different names that happen to sound the same (a bit like [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] and [name_f]Erin[/name_f]—which, in my accent, sound the same!). But I’ve learned from Nameberry that many people see [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as unisex! The connection to the bird sounds really special for you, too!

I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] for a boy!! It’s soft and sweet but also earthy and strong

Love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] for a boy!

Wren is very feminine to me, but I recognize it is a gender neutral name for many people. I could get used to a boy named [name_u]Wren[/name_u], I think. The [name_u]Ren[/name_u] spelling seems more masculine to me, though, for whatever reason.
