I forgot [name_f]Ngaio[/name_f] for mystery writer [name_f]Ngaio[/name_f] [name_u]Marsh[/name_u]. [name_f]Tana[/name_f] for [name_f]Tana[/name_f] [name_m]French[/name_m]. [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and [name_u]Christie[/name_u]. [name_f]Hortense[/name_f] for Calisher. [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] for [name_m]Le[/name_m] Guin.

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] are my favorites.

One that I would add is [name_u]Austen[/name_u] ([name_f]Jane[/name_f]). It is my favorite literary name for sure and I love the soft spelling.

I like [name_f]Angelou[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Eyre[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Anais[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. I love Guin too!

Adding the original woman writer: [name_f]Sappho[/name_f]. Such a cool name.

I like [name_f]Maya[/name_f], [name_f]Angelou[/name_f], [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_u]Alcott[/name_u], [name_f]Colette[/name_f], [name_f]Anais[/name_f], and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]! And I also love [name_u]Austen[/name_u], as @carlasworld added

I’m waiting to meet a girl named (and called) [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f]!

Want to add [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] for [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] [name_u]West[/name_u]. And [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] for Markham.

My daughter was nicknamed [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] in utero, and I still toss the name around as a potential third child sometimes. I also love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Anais[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] together would be great; I also like them apart but they don’t really evoke the writer for me apart.

Other evocative writer names: [name_f]Willa[/name_f] (Cather), [name_f]Edna[/name_f] (O’[name_m]Brien[/name_m]), [name_f]Alice[/name_f] ([name_u]Munro[/name_u]), [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] (E. [name_m]Butler[/name_m]).

Good additions. [name_f]Edna[/name_f], yes, for [name_f]Edna[/name_f] St. [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] [name_f]Millay[/name_f] too, I love [name_f]Millay[/name_f].
