I like both [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_m]Alaric[/name_m]. Voted for [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] in the end. [name_m]Just[/name_m] be warned that [name_m]Von[/name_m] as a middle name might be mistaken for a title/part of the lastname.
I voted [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], just for personal preference. [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Von[/name_m] also sounds great, though.
I would normally prefer [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] over [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], but [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Von[/name_m] is a bit too Germanic count for me.
I prefer [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]. I agree with pps though, spelled [name_m]Von[/name_m] I would assume it was part of the surname. Would you consider spelling it [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m]?
I also prefer the [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] spelling.
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Von[/name_m] is what I voted for, but I think both are great!
I love both, probably [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] more, but I think [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] [name_m]Von[/name_m] sounds and fits better, so I went [name_m]Alaric[/name_m].
Both are good, strong names. I prefer the spelling [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] as well, to me it makes it clear that it is a middle name and not part of the child’s surname, and it just seems to be more aesthetically pleasing.
If you changed the spelling of [name_m]Von[/name_m]/[name_m]Vaughn[/name_m], I would without a doubt vote for [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m], but with the [name_m]Von[/name_m] spelling I voted for [name_m]Alaric[/name_m]
I personally don’t like emrys with von. It reminds me of a [name_m]Butler[/name_m]. So I chose [name_m]Alaric[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] a bit better. Emeric could be a nice middle ground if you’re interested.
Thanks everyone for their feedback! I’ve made some adjustments based on the suggestions I got and I’m much happier with the way it looks and sounds!
